The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

I joined the Army Air Corps after my Jr. year 41. I was a pilot in WW2 and was a nuclear crew commander when I returned to Penn State and graduated Aug. 50. I went to work for Mandret Red as superintendent of three Bristol PA plants in 82. I also flew in the Air Force Reserve. During that time I met PResident Kennedy in Holmstead, FL during the Cuban Missile Crisis. I was also in Saigon during the Test Offensive. I retired from the Air Force Reserve in 72 from the Willow Grace Air Force Facility as TAC Group Commander. I married in 1949 and we have two find daughters, both Penn State grads. Dr. Monica Morrow 74 was named a distinguished fellow in the Eberyl School of Science in 2000. In 2002 she was named a distinguished alumnae. Like all Penn Staters we love the place. I started as an 18 year old, finished when I was 30. Not enough o my Delta Tau Delta brothers to get together anymore. I had a lot of courses that helped me professionally but George Harvey's fly fishing course has been a lifetime source of pleasure. My wife Maxine took it too. We caught trout all over the US, Alaska, Newfoundland, New Zealand, and Canada. Lots of great memories all due to Penn State.
